Helmet EXO-R1 EVO CARBON AIR SOLID

The Scorpion EXO-R1 EVO Carbon is the full-face helmet made by Scorpion, a trusted brand from Korea known for making strong, and high quality helmets. This race helmet is the updated version of the Scorpion EXO-R1. The new design makes it lighter, stronger, and safer, and is ECE22.06-certified.

Material

The shell is made of carbon, which is very strong but also very light. This material helps protect your head by offering great shock absorption, while making the helmet easy to wear for long rides. The helmet weighs just 1437 grams, which makes the EXO-R1 EVO Carbon one of the lightest helmets in this category. This means that the helmet will do a great job at preventing neck fatigue.

Comfort

The EXO-R1 EVO Carbon has a Kwikwick 3 inner liner. This inner liner feels soft and is moisture wicking. The inner liner is removable and washable, so it’s easy to keep your helmet fresh and clean. This helmet has an Airpump-System that lets you inflate the cheek pads to fit your face better.
The helmet is glasses-friendly, which means riders who wear glasses can wear this helmet comfortably without experiencing pressure points. The chin curtain helps block wind and reduce noise, giving you a quieter and more comfortable ride.
The Scorpion helmet also has an Emergency Quick Release, which lets emergency workers take off the helmet safely in case of an accident. This helmet has speaker pockets, so you can add a communication system to talk with others or listen to music while riding. The EXO-R1 EVO has a double-D closure which is currently the safest closure on the market.

Visor

The helmet comes with a clear visor that gives you a wide field of view. The helmet also comes with a smoke visor included in the box for riding in sunny weather. The visor is prepared for a tear-off set, so you can attach thin plastic sheets to peel off during a race. This keeps the visor clean, even in dusty or wet conditions.
This helmet also comes with a Pinlock included in the box, which prevents the visor from condensing. The breath guardstops condensation on the visor, keeping your view clear. The visor is scratch resistant, so it protects your eyes from the sun with its UV protection. The helmet has a strong visor mechanism which pulls the visor to the shell to keep out wind and noise. The helmet has a middle tab to open the visor and the visor can be put into multiple positions.

Ventilation

The helmet has a top vent and a chin vent to bring in fresh air. The back of the helmet has back vents to extract hot air from the helmet. The air channels inside the EPS shell guide air through the helmet which keeps the helmet cool.
The helmet also has a spoiler. This spoiler helps reduce wind drag and makes the helmet more stable at high speeds.
